Ayomide Bakare Iyanuoluwa, popularly known as Ayox, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He was born on February 4, 2003, in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.
Ayox began his music journey at the age of 14. He said he was inspired by the legendary Fela Kuti. His big break came in 2023 when he dropped the hit song “Walking Dead” featuring Zlatan, which brought him into the spotlight.
That same year, he released his first music project, titled “Last Son of a Widow,” a heartfelt EP where he shared his personal struggles, including losing his father.
Ayox’s sound is a mix of Afrobeats, Fuji, hip-hop, and R&B. In 2025, he teamed up with gospel Fuji legend Yinka Ayefele on a song called “Ayo (Joy),” and the song was widely loved.
Over time, Ayox has worked with several popular artists, including Qing Madi, Yinka Ayefele, Lasmid, Zlatan, and more.
